With Group Features, the hotel can provide a private TV channel for each group
Group Convention Channels
- Hotel maintains up to six convention channels
- Hotel assigns groups to channels using On Command Smart Front Desk computer
- Hotel enters start and stop times for channel authorization
- Channels appear automatically in lineup only in group rooms at start time
- Channels disappear automatically at stop time or checkout
Group Welcome Channels
- Hotel maintains up to six customizable welcome channels
- Hotel assigns groups to channels using On Command Smart Front Desk computer
- Channel appears automatically when TV is powered on rather than standard power-up-channel
- Hotel enters start and stop times for channel authorization
- Channels appear automatically in lineup only in group rooms at start time
- Power-up-channel changes to standard power-up-channel at stop time or checkout

- On Command system with CANVASª software version 2.9.1 or later
- Group Features protocol enhancement installed in hotel property management system
- One to six free-to-guest channels on MATV with playback device(VHS, DVD, or custom BarkerNext computers from On Command)
